A classically trained economist, Michael is a Co-Founder and Director of Drew, Walk & Co. He has over 30 years’ professional experience with executive appointments at organisations such as Myer Family Company, QIC, QSuper, Ord Minnett, J. B. Were & Son, and Wilson HTM.

He is a company director or trustee with a range of institutions, and a Professor of Finance at Griffith University. Michael received his PhD in economics from the University of Queensland and he is reading for a DPhil in financial geography at St Peter’s College, University of Oxford.
